PART 2d – About YOUr ideal client

The Value You Deliver

Business is not about you, it’s always about your client. “No one cares about you” is what I keep hearing in my various business trainings … which initially was kind of hard to take … but it makes sense, doesn’t it?

So you need to look at yourself from your clients’ perspective – what is it they gain from working with you? Why should they pick you? What makes you the right fit for them?

It’s all about them. What do you offer that can make their lives better?

Do you know the answers to these questions?

  • What makes me different from others who do what I do?
  • What are my credibility factors?
  • What unique experience do I have?
  • What’s different about how I offer my services?
  • What makes me specially wired for my ideal client?
  • What processes do I use that make me stand out from others in my industry?

The answers to those questions are The Value You Offer.

Take Action:

Take some time to answer these questions:

  1. How am I unique?
  2. What are my credibility factors?
  3. What unique experience do I have?
  4. What’s different about what I offer or how I offer it?
  5. What makes me specially wired for my ideal client?
  6. What processes do I use that make me different from others who offer similar results?

Sam Ovens makes us do this in his high power Consulting Training. I encourage you to do it here too! Right now! Don’t hesitate, just do it.

Hi [NAME],

I’m attending a training program that’s helping me figure out my own unique abilities and the person who is directing the training encouraged us to ask a close friend to provide some feedback on what you believe I’m skilled at and not skilled at.
Here’s the questions:
1. What are my strengths? What can you count on me for? (Please state 3-4 things)
2. What are my weaknesses? What can you not count on me for? (Please state 3-4 things)

3. What is my unique ability? What am i the best at in the world?

Thanks!

3. Hit send! Well done!

Bonus exercise! A guided visualisation that will leave you feeling empowered and inspired!

This is a great guided visualisation exercise I just discovered and am excited to share with you here. Since this is a ‘secret’ workgroup and for free I am taking the liberty to share this free gift from Natalie Ledwell with you, which I got after attending her 90-minute webinar, where she goes on to offer a very enticing ‘Overcome your limiting beliefs’ Programme. I was about to sign up, but …. I’m already doing lots of other programmes and learning, so for now I’ve decided to just go with this visualisation exercise. Try it out.

Another great tip I got in Nat’s webinar:

1. Pick one area of your life that you want to transform.

2. Decide what the goals are you want to achieve in this area of your life. Visualise them. Feel them. Feel as if you’ve already achieved them. Sit in the visualisation of the outcome you want to achieve.

2. Then, for a full day, or even a few days, keep a little notebook with you at all times, or use your notes in your iPhone, and write down all the little thoughts you have around this area/theme, positive and negative.

3. At the end of the day, write them all down, positives on one side, negatives on the other. See what you see there!
